Becoming a mother, and a teacher
Education have always been a part of who I am. I believe that seeking knowledge will take you far to places you never think you could go. I absolutely love teaching and have always knew that one day I would become a teacher. I am the youngest of ten and I can remember making my siblings sit in a circle so that I can teach them the alphabets and numbers. They put up with it me because I was the youngest. :) Also, I home schooled each of my three kids for six years.
I became an ESl teacher because I wanted to inspire my students to dream big and to pursue their desires in life. I want them to know that they can be successful in school and in the world; that they can be global citizens and make a difference in their communities and inspire others to do the same.
My teaching and learning experiences come from living abroad for almost 20 years. The world was my classroom. I lived in Egypt, Taiwan and visited most countries in Europe and Asia. I love teaching, but most of all I love learning.
ESL is the subject I teach, but my main objectives are to help my students gain self confidence, take risks academically, develop the determination to succeed, and be happy!
